Research Projects
We live in language.
Language is what we use to we make meaning, shape our emotions, connect with others, and bring our story to life. As a sociolinguistic researcher, I am fascinated by how our language and stories create and generate individual and collective experiences of well-being.

About My Research
I collect and explore stories – personal narratives of well-being, healing, and motherhood.
Looking through the lens of language, I investigate these stories for clues about what well-being means in our post-modern world, what other cultures can teach us in this area, and how we can do better at an institutional and societal level. Through my independent research, I hope to better understand what we as individuals and as a society can do to generate more everyday well-being in our personal lives and in healthcare organisations.
