About

Thank you for meeting me here.

In my work, I aim to spark curiosity and awareness, inspire possibility and delight, and deeply encourage all things connection.

Who I am

I’m Emma, a linguist, mindfulness coach, yoga teacher, maternal well-being researcher, and mentor. I’m also a coffee drinker, performer, nature lover, dreamer, recovering perfectionist, eternal student, and wholehearted mama to one spirited and incredible little boy. I’m on a mission to disrupt the status quo by inspiring women to cultivate connection, embrace rest, listen to their bodies, honour their inner knowing, celebrate their voice, change their story, and delight in now, exactly as it is.

What I do

At its core, my work is about inspiring women – especially the busy ones – to cultivate a life of presence, practice and purpose, and to live from a place of curiosity, delight and connection. I support women in creating a culture of connection, personally and professionally, within their own lives and that of their families. I do this by creating content and and products to inspire your practice, as well as by offering 1:1 mentoring for a little more personal support.

How I do it

I understand the challenges of a busy life and information overload. I also recognise how beautifully unique we all are, and how that means we all have very different needs. So I weave together my lived experiences with my professional knowledge to offer simple, practical, accessible, and adaptable tools, support, and mentorship. In my work, I blend together the art and science of mindfulness, language, story, yoga, and play, amongst other things.

Why I do it

Because a daily connection practice (and it’s called a practice, not a perfect) is what moves me towards the experience of being wholeheartedly and radiantly alive. And it hasbecome my greatest joy to support others to experience the same.

Because I believe that connection is the key to everyday joy, well-being, and wholehearted living. Connection to your village, your body, your breath, your rhythm, your creativity, your story, your purpose, your voice, nature, your joy.

Because I’ve lived it. I’ve lived the effects of disconnect, which have shown up for me at different times as burnout, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, anger, and an insatiable appetite for chocolate.

Because, more importantly, I’ve lived the power of connection. I’ve experienced how, in all of those instances and others (like navigating the turbulence of motherhood, high sensitivity, and hypermobility), connection has the power to heal, to keep me anchored, and to guide me home when I get lost.

Because I believe that, as each of us feels more connected, within themselves and with the world around them, the joy and well-being this invites into their lives will ripple outwards into the world. And so, just by being their wholeheartedly connected selves, these individuals make the world a better place. We need more of that, don’t you think?
